Common questions about our retainers
What does a typical month look like?
Depending on the retainer package you choose, we will manage your marketing as per your strategy and inline with your brand. Think of us as one of your team members. We’ll run your marketing function just as an internal resource would and keep you in the loop with monthly meetings and reporting.
What results can I expect to see?
Depending on your current marketing performance, and the retainer you choose, you can expect to see initial results and leading indicators within the first 6 months, with more significant growth in client enquiries developing between 8-12 months.
How soon can we start?
Right away! The first step is to create a strategy tailored to your firm. This process usually takes 3 weeks. Following that, the implementation can begin immediately!
How long are contracts?
All retainers are a 12-month minimum contract with a 30 day cancellation period following the initial 12 months.
What if I need services that aren't in my retainer?
We can provide you additional services outside your retainer agreement at a lower rate. If that additional service is a once off, simply let us know what you need and we’ll provide an estimate for that project. If it’s ongoing, we’ll provide an estimate for an increase in your monthly retainer amount.
How involved do I need to be?
We know your time to spend on marketing is minimal. Depending on the retainer you choose, we try to remove as much of the “doing” as possible from your end. However, no one will know your clients and business as well as you do, so we do ask for your involvement when it comes to strategy, content thoughts and some of the bigger picture ideas.
What is the billing cycle for my retainer?
A direct debit is setup with the total monthly amount (+gst) debited from your account on the 7th day of each month.
What if we go over the set retainer hours?
We don’t watch the clock religiously. If you go over by a couple of hours, that’s totally fine. However, if it looks like you will exceed your retainer by more than 5 hours we will advise you before moving ahead, and add it to your next direct debit.
